These fine folks and groups are All in for Allan!

"Kathy and I both grew up in the Philly area, but moved around the country many times during my 20 year career in the U.S. Navy. I finished my civilian career in the Semiconductor Industry, and Kathy did her time at Temple University. We planned our retirement to be in Milton Delaware and after 5 years feel like Sussex County has been our home a lot longer than that. We are very active in the local community, and involved in the major issues that concern all residents of Sussex, including protecting our environment and precious clean water resources, having controlled and well planned infrastructure growth, high quality schools, and good paying jobs. We are supporting Don Allan for his election to the State House because his goals for our County line up with ours. Don is a genuine local guy with hard working blue collar values, that has decided to try to make a difference, and we admire him for that. Don has our vote in November."

I'm proud to endorse Don Allan. As a 2nd generation carpenter, husband, father, and grandson of a Chrysler Assembly plant worker, Don understands the importance of an honest day's work and how we can address the challenges facing working families in Delaware. Don and I share a strong commitment to fighting for a cleaner, safer environment for future generations and greater economic opportunities for Sussex County, and for all Delawareans. Don is the right choice for Delaware's 36th District on November 6.

I met Don Allan a few months ago when he knocked on my door while just talking to the community. Our conversation really struck a nerve when we started talking about the future for children now and what can be done so they can be successful at their young age. I decided to start volunteering because I share some of the same values and morals with Don when it comes to community input, young people (children & teens), and the public educational system. I personally believe that the public education system is not up to par because it is what I experienced as a high schooler in Milford. I’m also a paralegal student and I am really into making things better for the community

I've gotten to know Don Allan over the past few months of his campaign, and I've been consistently impressed with his passion toward the issues that affect his community and the 36th Representative District. As a second-generation carpenter, Don understands how important it is to support Delawareans through good paying, middle class jobs. And he and I share a commitment to make sure every child, no matter where they live, has a chance to be successful in our state. Don has the tenacity to make positive change in his district, and I'm looking forward to working with him in Dover.

I am an enthusiastic supporter of Don Allan’s candidacy for Delaware’s 36th district. I have known Don ever since moving to Delaware and know that he will make an outstanding representative on our behalf. I especially value that Don communicates in specifics and not generalities when he discusses issues. His proposals for clean water and more equitable funding for our school district make a lot of sense to me. Don is a lifelong resident of Delaware who comes from a working class environment and is sincerely dedicated to promoting a better Delaware for all its residents.

I believe a representative’s priority is to find out what’s most important to their constituents, and to follow through by standing by policies that best represent their constituents needs with the courage of his convictions. Don has knocked on literally thousands of doors and personally spoken to as many people in our district as possible. It can be a thankless job, but I believe Don has our best interest at heart, and will work toward a better future for our community. It’s not about a career move, it’s about standing up for all of us, not just the most powerful. That’s why Don has my vote.

I was born and raised in Milford, DE and I am a son of two immigrants who came to the United States in seek of a better life. I work in Washington, D.C. and come back to Sussex County on the weekends because home is really here. Home cannot be home however, if our environment is not protected, if our neighbors do not have health insurance, if our migrant community lives in fear, if our schools lack funding, if our elderly is not taken care of, and if our waters are undrinkable. This election should not be about party affiliation but rather who will act on the issues that need to be fixed. We cannot keep electing people who do not represent us and only serve to benefit their interests. Public service should be about serving others; it should be about making change not keeping the status quo. My parents worked so hard to give my family a chance in this community. They could not have done it without this community because it takes a village to help each other succeed. I would not have been able to graduate college and obtain a job in the most powerful place in the U.S. without the support of my community. I want to be able to give back to my community and I believe that by helping elect Don, I know I’ll will have done just that.

I volunteer for Don's campaign because as Don said, " ...turn off the TV and do something." So I did! Don wants for his daughter, what I want for my grandchildren. Among them are protecting our natural resources (like clean water) and equality in our education for everyone. He is very much aware of the needs of all residents within our district, and surrounding areas including Kent and Sussex counties. As a senior citizen, I'm encouraged and believe Don will represent all of us. Don is motivated! He gives me great hope for our future.

I'm a resident of Ellendale, Sussex County, DE. I was a professional businesswoman, though I’m now retired. I’m supporting Don Allan for State house of Representative for District 36. I share his values and concerns for our District. He’s taken a strong stand on our real concerns for our water quality as well as environmental issues. He’s a strong advocate for equal rights of all citizens regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status. He believes income levels for the middle class need to be reflective of their hard work in a more equitable ways. He believes funds for education needs should be more balanced for schools in our district. He is fighting for our district to be strongly represented with these and many issues in the House."

I am a retired Senior Citizen of Sussex County Delaware and a resident of District 36. I have a degree in Secondary Education and am active in environmental issues with a certification as an Environmental Steward from Rutgers University, I'm also active in various community organizations in Milton and Sussex County. I am supporting Don Allan because he is committed to protecting our environment, especially the quality of our air and water resources, for present and future generations of Sussex County residents. I also like the fact that Don Allan's judgment is not influenced by corporate special interests because he does not accept campaign contributions from large corporations. Don's motivation and decisions are based upon what is best for the citizens of Sussex County and District 36.

As neighbors of Don, Carrie, and Josie, Dianne and I are delighted to support Don's run for State Representative from the 36th District. We are so happy to see a young person willing to run for office to work for all of us. His support of clean water initiatives is so needed as we face the possibility of polluted wells in our neighborhood, as well as in other areas of our state. We also applaud him for promising to work for a more equitable tax structure that spreads the tax burden more fairly. Education is so important and Don will work to assure Sussex County can attract good teachers, and that our teachers are earning a good living. As a same-sex married couple, we applaud Don's support of the LGBTQ community and know he will work to assure gender equality in DE. We are also senior citizens and have huge concerns about health care costs. We know that Don will be working for us to assure all of us health care that doesn't force seniors to choose between purchasing their medicine and paying for food. Please go to the polls on November 6 and vote for Don Allan. You will have made the right choice for all of us.

Billie and I have always cared about people over monetary gains. We chose careers where we served the more vulnerable individuals in our community. We became involved in Don's campaign because Don expressed concerns about people issues. Issues such as having safe water, equality in educational opportunities, and the working persons ability to earn a living wage. His values are closely aligned with ours. From working with his campaign I have seen Don demonstrate competencies in planning and implementing action strategies. Don's youth, commitment, devotion to family and tireless energy are what we are looking for in our governmental leadership.

I’m voting for Don Allan because we don’t need any more career politicians at Legislative Hall. Don is a family man, a middle class American who knows what it’s like to work hard, using his hands to shape his future. When elected, he will think about us, his constituents, and make the right choices to protect Delaware!

I’m voting for Don Allan because his passions are my passions. Don will be an advocate for Sussex County- for equity in education funding, clean water for all communities, protecting our environment, and improving infrastructure. Very important to me- Don openly shares that he has not and will not accept any corporate donations. He puts people before corporations. Don believes in the rights of all Sussex County citizens; he values diversity. Don values family. He brings his daughter Josie with him to many events. I spoke with Don and Josie at the Rehoboth Beach “Hands Across the Sand” event in opposition to governmental proposals for oil and gas exploration off the Atlantic shoreline. Yes, Don “doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk”. He believes in getting involved personally; and he believes in educating his daughter to be a good steward of the environment. Don is running to be our representative because he wants a better future for our children. I have had the pleasure several times to canvass door-to-door with Don. Seeing Don interact with people in our district, you see his passion. He enjoys talking to people- not just listening to their concerns, but understanding why that concern is important to that individual. On more than one occasion Don has followed up with a second visit to help someone with their concern. That is what I want in my representative! I want commitment, caring, respect, and follow through. That is why Don has my vote in November.

I grew up in a rural town and my father and mother both raised me to be a caring, hardworking, and selfless person. I am human and have moments of selfishness, but overall remind myself daily how fortunate I am (even on my worst days). I am a teacher, and my amazing students remind me of this every day. Some are coming here for a better life, others are first generation high school graduates and first time college students, and others work hard in the classroom and the workforce. They are my reminder to give. My father was a union rep for the local electrical company, and was always willing to work at any job knowing it could lead to a better position. He and my mother defined what it meant to be a hard worker. They emphasized this along with a college degree. My dad is the mayor of our town. In his daily job and his town responsibility he fights for fair wages and making life livable regardless of a college degree or not. He and my mother do not have a college degree and have worked to make a decent honest wage. He wants better for those coming into the work force. What Don represents is all the things my parents have instilled in me. Fighting for those who can't always fight for themselves. Helping those who work hard to make a living, but are still struggling. Educating our youth and supporting their education. Without a strong education system, we can't expect to have citizens that can compete in this global economy.
